Checking in

There’s a lot happening right now (as always), but the “big” thing is something I don’t really like to talk about…So, we’ll see how this post goes.

Some of you know that I have experienced headaches for a tidge over 10 years (Since Feb 14,2003). Thankfully they aren’t migraines, but the docs really don’t know what’s the cause, or how to treat them.  Most of the time they are manageable…but sometimes, they aren’t.  I am currently on Day 9 of one that is awful. Like, barely able to function/work awful. So blessed to have a team here that prays for me and loves me through this…because really, this girl is physically/mentally/spiritually exhausted (aka: probably not much fun to be around).

On a much happier note, Kylie and I have decided on a method for spicing up our cooking routine: themed dinners for the week. We wrote a bunch of themes down, and picked one randomly. This week we will be cooking: “Food from Middle eastern countries.” Other themes for future weeks include: cinnamon, coffee, main dish that starts with a vowel, Indian, vegetarian, colors of the rainbow, and fun at the circus/fair. We’re pretty excited.

16 days until Dad is in Granada!!

More later. Have a wonderful week!

  1. Hang in there, kiddo! There has to be some reason for those headaches. I know you’ve suffered for a long time and you seem to be a medical anomaly, but I believe there is a Reason and you’ll understand it better by and by. 🙂
